2014 De Zwemmer / The Swimmer, by Joakim Zander. A Northern 'boy'. Category: thriller. A debut! The first lines of the book: July 1980 Damascus, Syria.
'I think it is also about social exclusion and aging of men and the loss of testosteron, a not sexy item to speak about loud on birthdayparties, in Europe. That makes me think, is it then de p word, de piemel, which should be discussed more openairy hardop, out loud, in public life.
And which artist is going to perform the Da Vinci circle in public, in Cologne or New York or Marrakech! Show it! Uh? Police? Soumission? Or do even a lot of police men think of piemels as very threathening. Uh? Most of the time piemels are as soft as breast. And yes, occasionaly piemels can become harder, even stuff, like nippels do. So, what is the problem?
O, self control!!! Why do you not say so. That is a matter of training, like learning how to p,ay football.
If it is true that we all are seeking attention...........this is the time, now, why not grasp this golden opportunity?
Men and women artists are invited to perform piemels, the real ones, fake ones, doesn't matter, yes, in public! Off course. Why do so secretive about it? From a psychological approach, the most effective way to adress to a 'bully' us to 'bully' back. Another word is 'mirroring'.
The best places seem to be the entrances / exits nearby railwayatations. In Europe, at least. I do not no so much about the best places in Asia, Oceania, SouthAmerica, USA, Canada, MiddleEast, Arabia.
Maybe you can come up with some place advice for the 'poor' artists of planet Earth.
2015 Soumission, roman/ novel by Michel Houllebecq, a writer with a French ID, who is moving around in public space in Europe, not alone, not as an individual, but as a group. A very biological attitude, people feel safe in a group, according to biologists.
Why isn't there any biologist writing in the newspaper about ' group rapings ' among the human species? Are they being socially, communicatively, excluded from the printed public news? Are they not able to write in public language? Do they not teach in schools of Journalism? Is it a place, an education or a language problem? Or is it any 'elephant' kind of habit to stay safe at the university and on Google / scholar internet, to only share knowledge among the members of the biologist group.
Or do we need historians like Thomas van der Dunk to pick up this topic? Well, Thomas thinks it is of more importance now to do research on and write about the board elites. Thinking money money money. Thomas, can I ask you a personal question? When do you think women, women, women?
If I may remind you of your own argument in an article in de Volkskrant, 14Janary 2016, I copy: 'Die zelfzuchtige cultuur komt men inmiddels in ........ tegen.' I translate: ' That selfish kind of culture one is able to encounter in........'.
Yes, a group. Historians seem to act in a group as well. I am trying to become a whathappnd scientist, a new wave of historian, actually whathappnd scientist are words, derived from the literally translated words in Dutch with the meaning of historian: geschiedwetenschapper. But since hardly anyone understand Dutch, I came up with these English words. 'Houston, do you read me?'
